Young Ambassadors

Walney School Sports Ambassadors Megan Furness and Declan Culbert have been our School Sports Ambassadors for the last year. They have been a credit to themselves and the school. Due to exam commitments they are preparing to hand over the reins to two new sports Ambassadors currently being selected from year 10. The pupils ahve to write a letter of application stating why they feel they would be a good sports ambassador and what qualities they possess which will be off benefit. There are 14 Sports Ambassadors in the Furness School Sport Partnership. These are selected from all the year 10 pupils. Megan and Declan where chosen for their reliabilty, leadership qualities and sport ability. It was a great honour for these two pupils. They have been involved in festivals, organising events, school council, giving presentations in assembly and meeting people from local sports clubs. Thank you Megan and Declan |
